About 600 B.C., under the fiery eyes of Sanat Kumara, the Piscean Christ took the Initiation of Transfiguration, becoming the head of the Planetary Hierarchy. The Christ, after 2,500 years of perfecting Himself, became for humanity the perfect image of God. In the Kabbala, He was called the Adam Qadmon, the perfect model of all Form.

The Aquarian Christ, having further perfected himself during the unfolding Age of Pisces, will serve the Universe as an image of the Cosmic Magnet as He enters into the Aquarius of the Greater and lesser Zodiacs.[1] In addition, it is thought that at some point during this reign of 2,500 years, as He enters into the lesser zodiac, the Law of Divisibility likely will be implemented, bringing an Aspect of the Cosmic Christ into incarnation within the three worlds—whether it be upon the physical, astral or mental planes of consciousness, or all three. In the world of disciples, in the world of Initiates, in the world of esotericism, there will be those whom we will consider the forerunners of the New Age.

Who will the Aquarian Christ magnetize with the principles of the Aquarian Age?

Within the field of humanity, those who receive the first wave of energy will be His disciples and Initiates. These are the ones who have a purified consciousness and are considered to be the more sensitized and receptive “cells” in the body of the Aquarian Christ. What does it mean to be a receptive cell? It means to be as perfect as one possibly can be and to be free, as much as one can, from hatred, jealousy, revenge, greed and a sense of separateness. This is so one can become a vessel that can be used by the wave of energy that will precede the entrance of the Aquarian Christ. A person’s consciousness must become sensitized to register the energy of the Aquarian Christ.

How will the body of humanity, in general, receive the energy of the Aquarian Christ?

Through a basic law of physics: the Law of Magnetism. Everything that exists in the world has magnetic properties. Magnetism is the power of attraction. Magnetism comes into being when solar energy penetrates, for example, into iron; it then becomes magnetic. We have three kinds of energies: Fire by Friction, Solar Fire and Electrical Fire. These three kinds of energies create magnetism in matter. When one, two, or three of these fires penetrate our aura, we become magnetic—magnetized by this physical, spiritual, or Cosmic energy.

How does this exchange of energy take place? Every time we breathe, we cause a sacred Fire exchange between Space (the Cosmic Christ) and human form. The greater contact the disciple or Initiate has with the Soul, the greater the exchange of Fire. Likewise, the more polluted the personality, the lesser the amount of exchange. There is also an assimilation of energy by way of the seven major chakras, or centers, espe­cially the crown, brow, and throat chakras. If we can broaden our consciousness to understand this, and if we can recognize that the Christ, the Head of Hierarchy, is going to be the symbol and expression of the Cosmic Magnet, then each time we align to the Cosmic Magnet—the Center of Love—in our medita­tions and in our thoughts, feelings, and actions, we will become further magnetized and charged with this fiery energy.

When we begin to assimilate this energy and if we have any weaknesses in the head center, we will begin to feel out of balance. Depending on our level of consciousness or on whatever level that awakening begins to take place, there is going to be a shift, or a change, in our physical, emotional, and mental chemistry. Don’t panic if this occurs; just understand that a wave of energy is coming through you. (If you are concerned, though, I would certainly encourage you to consult your doctor.)

In the human being there is physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual magnetism. For example, the Soul is the sun. When the Light and Love of the Soul fuses with our etheric body, we become magnetic, and people feel it. When our Soul energy fuses with our astral body, we develop emotional magnetism. When the Soul fuses with the mental body, we become magnetic mentally. When the Higher Mind becomes magnetic, the person becomes flooded by great ideas and visions. When we become intuitively magnetic, great currents of energy of sacrificial service are attracted to us. The disciples and Initiates of the world, on all planes of consciousness, have the energy to serve, each dedicating him- or herself to do great things.

How will the magnetization by the Aquarian Christ be accomplished?

We know that when a Great One descends into the human kingdom, He can reach humanity in four ways:

a) He can over‑shadow or inspire His disciples,

b) He can appear in subtle bodies,

c) He can occupy the personality vehicles of a disciple and use them in the three worlds, or

d) He can incarnate in a dense physical body, if the physical body is healthy.

As it happened with Jesus, for a period of time a Great Being will either overshadow or come into one’s aura, and one’s soul will be displaced for a little while and then will return. But this is only if one has an appropriate vehicle for this phenomenon to take place. Are we going to be overshadowed by the Christ? Not unless we are as great as a Master. But, we can be over­shadowed by the energy, by the representatives of Hierarchy, by a senior Initiate, or even by a senior Disciple. We can be overshadowed if we are a prepared vessel.

The result of this magnetization, overshadowing, and occupation will bring forth the new civilization, the New Age group consciousness.

Group Consciousness

As disciples throughout the world build the Antahkarana bridge—creating a line of communication between the lower and Higher Mind, and later with the Spiritual Triad—and assimilate this energy through the three centers: the head center, ajna center and throat center, they will become potently magnetized by the Aquarian energy. They will be inspired in such a way that they will begin leading humanity toward true group consciousness.

As this Aquarian energy comes into the atmosphere of the planet and precipitates into the minds of disciples and Initiates, we’re going to see a shift in leadership. In this shift of leadership, we’re going to find not only individuals unfolding into group consciousness but also groups unfolding in such a way that there are going to be intergroup relationships. We will move from the individual to the group to intergroup relation‑ relationship, and, I believe, this will take place within a very short span of time.

At the 2006 Global Philanthropy Forum in Washington, D.C., former U.S. President Bill Clinton said, “We have to build a world with more partners and fewer enemies.” In his speech, he spoke about the ups and the downs of interdependent movements. He stressed the flexibility of integrated communities fueled by shared opportunities, shared responsibilities, and a shared sense of belonging. The emphasis being placed on the word “shared” is a keyword for intergroup relationships.

We’ve seen this with the White Mountain Educational Group, which is a part of a sixty plus-member global “group of groups” called the World Service Intergroup (WSI). The WSI is a brand new idea; it’s a new concept for esoteric people, who can finally put their studies to work, affecting humanity on a global scale. I have put my energy behind this movement because it’s truly the first I’ve seen that is worldwide. My dream is to see all the esoteric groups that are mature and integrated come together in their leadership realms, first with the leaders and then with the mem­bers of the various groups. It’s the leaders who make a difference, for it is the leadership that takes the ideas that have been shared with the leaders of other intergroup networks and causes all the members of the groups to begin networking, not in a reactionary, angry, separative, superior way, but in an integral way. This is integrated leadership.

The Incoming Energy

It is my belief that as we enter into the Aquarian consciousness, the consciousness of humanity must be polarized to this energy. It stands to reason that at first this is not going to happen. There will be a lot of resistance in ways that we can already see taking place in the world—through dissension and contention among world leaders and between nations. If we can take the esoteric, or the more occult, understanding, we can recognize that to get from point “A” to point “B” something has to change to shift the consciousness.

We expect a new Teaching to be released in 2025. A new Teaching is not something different; it is something “in addition to.” It is the next phase, or the next wave, of Teaching. If we, as disciples and Initiates, do not prepare our consciousness, we are not going to recognize this new energy. If we don’t undergo the purification process, we are not going to recognize it because we’ll be so busy reacting.

If we as a body of people, as a nation, as a world are already reacting to this energy, imagine what will happen when it hits us full force. We want to be prepared, and therefore we must learn how not to be reactionary. Remember the axiom “To know, to dare, to will, and to be silent”? Can we practice this in our day-to-day life?

The other day a person called me on the phone wanting information on the group. My response was, “Do you have access to the Internet?” This caused a litany of reaction. “No, I don’t have contact with the Internet!” the person spewed. “Why would I? It’s superfluous to life. I’m more involved with what’s important!”

This reminded me of a story that Bill Clinton, former president of the United States of America told in a speech before a global philanthropic organization. He spoke about how when he was in New York at a fair with his niece, and they were walking down the arcade, a woman who was working in one of those ball-throwing games came up to him with a fifty dollar bill and stuffed it in his hand. She said, “Here. Would you please give this to the Katrina fund? I know it’s unusual to give someone cash, and normally I give all my contributions on the Internet, but I just don’t have the time to do it.” Mr. Clinton addressed the assembly, “This is the world today! Katrina, the earthquake, and the tidal wave that took place in Thailand, well, the majority of the contributions came through the Internet.”

For a person to say that the Internet is superfluous is like saying that television is superfluous. You can’t say that the kind of programming found on, for example, Link TV, the History Channel, the Biography Channel, and National Geographic are obsolete because they are coming into the homes of people who may never go out into the world and have these experiences. In the same way, the Internet is coming into our life to make us group conscious and more globally conscious.

The Group Disciple

The exact time of the Age of Aquarius has been debated for years. Esoteric students must keep in mind that an age lasts approximately 2,500 years, and we are presently within the 250-year cusp period which is taking us into the Aquarian Age. The exact date is still speculative.

As the New Age of Aquarius comes closer, it is becoming increasingly evident that the Law of Group Consciousness is rapidly coming into manifestation.

What will be the immediate “task” of the Aquarian Christ? The Tibetan gives us a hint when he says, “He is going to establish right human relations.” “The main objective and the imme­diate task of the Christ is to bring to an end the separateness which exists between man and man, family and family, community and community, and nation and nation.”[2] How do we expect this to take place? Through the power and service of true groups—integrated, magnetic groups. It can’t be a startup group because they haven’t yet been “through the mill.” It must be a “tried and true” integrated group. It is through such an integrated, magnetic group that the dispelling of the glamor of separateness, replaced with right human relations, can be undertaken with world influence.

Such a Group is called a Group Disciple. Such a Group is an organism, which is either a petal or a flower in the Hierarchy. To be an organism means that the hearts in the Group are united. To be an organism means the Group is one with an inherent life. It is the united hearts of the Group members that create the organism, giving it a vitality, a life-giving power. If the members of the Group are not united in their hearts, there is no nucleus and no magnetism.

It is through the united hearts of the Group that the magnetic, radiatory energy of the Aquarian Christ will flow into the Group Mind, the Soul of the Group Disciple, magnetiz­ing the Group with the inspiration and ideation of right human relations and the Law of Synthesis. Just as an individual can become overshadowed, so a Group can surrender Itself for use by the Great Lord. The group then becomes transformed through the magnetic impulse of the Aquarian Christ. In turn, the Group Disciple magnetizes its field, or spheres of influence, via its creative labor and sacrificial service.
