We are a Washington, DC based group studying the Ageless Wisdom traditions in order to make practical application of the teachings and instructions in daily life.

The group was formed in 2005 by participants of the Center for Visionary Leadership's Science of the Soul courses.  We meet monthly, meditate and study at different group member's homes, and leadership facilitation is rotated among group members.  Currently we are reading Lucille Cedercrans' Nature of the Soul. The group is open to serious students of the Ageless Wisdom, especially, but not limited to, the work of Alice Bailey and Lucille Cedercrans.

Another Step Along The Way of Group Progress

Arcana Workshops is a group of disciples who are dedicated to the work of aiding the externalization of the Hierarchy and the reappearance of the Christ. We serve under the premise that a certain kind of meditation calls out the best that is in us. It enhances efficiency and effectiveness in daily living. It leads to the cultivation of skill in human relations as well as to that deep inner poise which manifests as consistent cheer and courage.

Group meditation unites in loving cooperation all who work for the common good.

The highest human creative capacity is the genius to envision and build a better civilization. Toward that end, we attempt to relate each newly acquired knowledge and each new insight to the general welfare. 

The purpose of Arcana Workshops is to provide the training, atmosphere, companionship and service opportunities necessary to link the aspiration and spiritual will of Humanity with Hierarchal intent.

In our effort to embody our purpose we provide the following services.

·        Meditation training given in weekly face to face workshops

·        The Los Angeles Heart Project public meditations

Thoughtline a monthly journal dedicated to exploring and publishing leading edge work in the field of esoteric philosophy and thought with the expressed purpose of bridging between the esoteric community and the non esoteric planetary intelligentsia.

Full Moon Magic a handy reference guide for those who are involved in full moon meditation work. Full Moon Magic is published every three years and contains times and dates for the sun’s passage through the signs, and other data pertinent to the participation in the full moon mediation work.

The Association is a non-profit educational organization chartered in Italy in 1979 and State-recognized in 1999. Since June 2002 it is associated with the United Nations Department of Public Information.

The philosophical basis of the Association’s activities is rooted in the Ageless Wisdom of East and West based on the teachings of Alice Bailey, Agni Yoga and Theosophy. The Association participates in study group activities on philosophic and spiritual themes and holds monthly meditation meetings.

The Association's activities have always concentrated on supporting and spreading the ideals of brotherhood, unity in diversity and responsibility for the common good of humanity; this through the instilling of new ethical and social values.

Since its constitution in 1979, all the activities of the Association have been planned and conducted  by the administrative body and by its members on a voluntary basis and have been offered to the public at no charge. The Association has always been financed exclusively by the voluntary contributions of its members and supporters.

Since its constitution, the Association has run in Italy the Triangles and World Goodwill service activities of the Lucis Trust, activities that serve the common good through quarterly newsletters in ten languages highlighting the power of meditation and the energy of goodwill  in world affairs.

Since 1996, the Association has especially intensified its voluntary work in the school education field. From 1996 to 2001, the co-Founder and President of the Association was the Honorary Representative to Italy of the United Nations University for Peace, working in Italian academic circles as coordinator and point of reference of both organizations. During this period, significant academic objectives were reached and seminars held on the theme: the United Nations and Peace Education. This academic activity is presently being carried on by the Association on its own basis. On this topic the Association also holds seminars and meetings in various Italian cities. 

As from the year 2000, a new initiative was launched intent on contributing to awake public opinion: Good News Agency, a weekly news bulletin that the Association emits in Italian and in English and which carries news from the world of the UN, NGOs, service associations and volunteer groups. It is sent free through the Internet to more than 2.400 media in 46 countries in the world with the aim of gradually persuading them to spread also this type of news.

Through the Rotary Clubs, the Association is also spreading Good News Agency in Italian high schools. Plans are under way to spread this community service in other countries.

In February 2001, Good News Agency launched the Ethical Code of the Media, that stresses publishers’ responsibilities to give voice also to the positive events which indicate in the world the response of humanity to the greatest problems of our time. The Code has been endorsed so far by over one hundred service organizations and eminent persons in the field of culture around the world, as well as by several academic bodies and peace research institutes.

Our work is organized as follows:

A. As a Center of Light, we offer:
    1) two year long courses

• Light of the Soul, through which we have been preparing a group of 20 teachers, now in the 3rd.year
• Inner Life - a group studying Agni Yoga writings.

    2) Between 3 to 8 other courses of 8-12 lectures. Some of  the
        titles:

• We and the Aquarian Age
• Discipleship in the New Era (from the disciple to the Master
• Intuition in Labor, etc.

B. As a Center of Living Ethics

• We stimulate Right Human Relationship
• We invite people of other organizations for interviews and lecturing
• We participate of the city community and philanthropic activities
• 2 workshops and a seminar are held every year.

C. As a Center of Art and Beauty

• Monthly concerts
• We are now curators of over 500 paintings of Vladimir Boregar which are being catalogued and cared for. We also received hundreds of drawings and photographs which are being now catalogued.

D. As a Center of Meditation:

We hold daily meditations, at noon every Sunday, Thursday, and full moon meditations, also including the Reappearance of the Christ on Thursdays and reorientation of money for Hierarchical aims.

The center was founded in 1994 and has the motto "Inner peace for international peace". The center is dedicated to the exploration of the laws of right human relations and to discovering and recognizing the use of goodwill in creating these. The center invites people in the area to full moon meditations and offers a 3-4 year individualized training programme for would-be-trainers in conflict resolution and meditation. The center is developing programmes for researching the application of conflict resolution in different areas:

Man - woman- relationships
Parents - children
Teachers - students
Leaders - followers

The programmes are for people active in politics and social organisation and within each individual. They include experimentation with and exploration of the consequences of taking into consideration the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual energies in relationships.

The Bolivian Unit of Service is a cooperating group with various members working with their own groups, providing a spiritual orientation and meditation training based on the books of the Master D.K, Helena Petrovna Blavatsky and others.

As an inner group, we work together with public monthly full moon celebrations, plus monthly mail contacts to people in the main cities in Bolivia, sending them spiritual articles and full moon information. We also offer public seminars to specific groups such as Masons, Rotary clubs, army officers, etc.

As individuals, each of us works according to his or her capacities.  One member is publishing a spiritual magazine and uniting groups of different tendencies, another writes articles for the newspaper on living values and she will soon have a TV program. Other members, including a psychologist and a university teacher, give lectures to different  groups; another writes letters to certain politicians,  inspired  by  Master D.K.'s books and is also  in charge of the economic part of our service group. Another member is a Mason's wife, and she works with their wives teaching them spiritual truths, and another member who is a  Master Mason is trying to help them change their focus into a more  spiritual and profound approach. Another member gives talks to different groups, writes spiritual articles and leads spiritual groups in her home, where different groups come to study and to meditate. 

The group is planning to work with a school, giving the children, teachers and parents a new approach with living values.  In this work the group is cooperating with Living Values, Brahma Kumaris and Unesco. The group is also holding a major national seminar including talks and workshops on "Death, a Great Adventure" and "Psychism, a World Problem."

We are active in three main areas as follows:

1. Computerized communication

• Acting as web master for spiritual internet sites-- Bristol Goodwill and other groups.

• Communicating through e-mail with many international spiritual connections.

2. Meditation and networking

• Group consciousness meditation locally, nationally, and internationally through NGWS, WSI, BG and ARCANE SCHOOL.
• Networking for locally spiritual groups including presentation of AAB teachings at an active Inter-Faith Group.
• Creation in process for Bristol Goodwill Heart Trust Fund in support of spiritual workers, therapists and other valuable workers.

 3. Study and distribution of literature

• Study Group - re Problems of Humanity
• Study Group - Meditation and practical activity on behalf of City of Bristol, including distribution of 2,000 invitations to fellow-citizens to join in meditation on behalf of their city.
• Translation of the Great Invocation into Welsh and distribution of 1,000 to libraries, hospitals, etc.
• Distribution of literature of AAB literature and Positive News to libraries, shops, health stores and 3 prisons.
